Help Me Find The Best Golf Resort Close To Kon Kaen

Featured Replies

Hi,

My old man is coming for a visit and he is a golf fanatic. I need to find a nice golf resort close to Kon Kaen. If it is on the way from kon kaen to korat, its ok to. The reason is that we are going to korat after we have visited kon kaen.

cheers, chr

Singha Park Khon Kaen might be the best course unless you are planning on the first week in December as a Pro-Tournament has been arranged. It is brand new and as I'm still in UK, I havent played it yet. No idea if they have rooms there. It is a few K's South of the city. Google it for photos.

Another course (about 12k) West is Dancoon, this course isn't too bad and does have a hotel attached if you need to live at the course! Bit boring in the evening tho'

Best bet may be to base yourself in KK itself at the Pullman (exSofitel) or Charoen Thani and drive to the courses. There is another course up at Ubol Rat Dam (50k North of KK) which is enjoyable. Another further North is Victory Park but this is the other side of Udon.

I think the decent Korat courses are South of Nakhon Ratch so will be out of reach.

Hope this helps.
