Drugs And Guns Seized In Banglamung Police Crime Suppression Operation.

Pattaya, October 15 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : At 5.30 on Thursday Morning in front of Banglamung Police Station, the Station Chief, Police Colonel Somnook, led a parade of Police, Police Volunteers and Civil Defense Volunteers who participated in an early morning crime suppression operation around the Banglamung area. Orders were given to hunt out drug dealers, gamblers and those suspected of possessing other illegal items such as firearms. The operation lasted 3 hours, during which time 15 people were arrested and 550 Yabba Tablets, 3.66g of Crystal Methamphetamine, 4 guns and 67 bullets along with eight suspected stolen motorbikes were seized. Later in the morning, Police Major General Tanaert, the Provincial Police Commander held a press conference to announce the results of the operation which was declared a success. He promised that further operations will take place.
