Turning Off Spam And Ad Sms Text Messages

Featured Replies

FYI if you are - like me - annoyed with the constant GMM and whatnot commercial SMS messages, just call AIS customer service and tell them to turn off all commercial SMS. I didn't actually get many for a long time, but they seemed to increase in frequency to the point where I got 2 or 3 a day.

One call to AIS, and they're gone.

Hi

Did it when i changed to AIS from True, only got a few telling i could now roam, did the same with True BTW True is not very good here on Phuket

Didn't work for me with a particularly annoying SMS spammer, and I will name names: Ana Garden restaurant. They had gotten my mobile number from having made a reservation there and then placed it in their SMS spam list without my permission. I replying to their texts and asking them to remove me, but they continued, as I am sure nobody ever looked at them. It was not until I had to make two calls to managers there that I was finally removed from their spam list. Needless to say, I shall never book a reservation there again if they ask me for my phone number.
