Soulwy Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I am thinking about staying at the Ladya Road near the King Taksin Statue. map: http://www.aiyaresidence.com/aiyaresidence_map.php It's a bit hard to find information about this area. Is it vivid with food stall & massage salons? And how is the local transportation besides the BTS, like buses going to Chinatown ? Thanks!
Xonax Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 You will find both traditional food stalls (thai food) and traditional massage salons with thai massage and foot massage. No special massage or western food. But dont worry - BTS will take you to Silom Road or Siam Square in only 20-25 minutes. It is not far from Chinatown, so you should be able to find busses in Wongwian Yai to take you there. Plenty of cheap taxis.
Soulwy Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Wow, I was there today...I lost my mind. It's huge. From Chinatown (across Old Siam) it is with bus 42 to the monument.
