Boat Ride To Samui From Phuket

Featured Replies

Any help would be great want to go to Samui. Bkk air is 3500 bt. how long from what location in Phuket do you get a high speed or a ferryboat from? Better to fly? I bet? please first time to Samui been to Phuket before want to spend a few on Samui I read that Chaweng Beach is the place to be I was looking st the bungalows at the Seascape Beach Hotel & Resort any info as far as this place would be nice too, girl friendly? close to all? nice rooms? thank you far any and all guys. :o Ramster

Interesting idea, but a little unfeasible. Phuket is on the west side of the Thai land mass, Samui is on the east. To get from one to the other by boat would mean going south around Malaysia, crossing pirate infested waters, etc. Check the map of Thailand and you will see what I mean.

I'm sure you can book a trip from Phuket to Samu in Phuket, prooably via minivan acroos the country and then a boat trip from Donsak or Surat to Samui. But if you do the boat ride please let us know how it went!

Fly in , going over the islands on a nice sunny day is a great sight & you get to land in our boutique airport. :o

Take the boat down to Singapore, turn right and head back up Malaysia and your virtually there.

Take the plane, or overland it by bus. It will probably shave a few days off travelling by boat.

Don't listen to him, he's being silly. Surely it's left at Singapore?

If he arrives from Hong Kong he's right.

if he comes from hk , its turn right at vietnam , not singapore ! :o

Hey, we laugh but we just had some kooky farang guy come and ask about buying my husband's speedboat (he uses it for wakeboarding, waterskiing and mainly for his fun :o ) because this guy wants to take it down the coast of Thailand, around Singapore, up the other side and over to India. Good luck guy, it is a 14 foot 85 hp boat.

What a nutter! :D
