Photo Contributions

Featured Replies

I'm starting the design of the new 2010 Thaivisa calendar and all I'm missing are photos. The hardest part has always been finding good, topic oriented and free use photos for it. Last year I had several members contribute photos and the calendar was the best one yet. Thanks to those members. :)

I would like to ask members to either post photos here or link to photos you have on Thaivisa that you would be willing to allow usage in the calendar. Some requirements below.

1. Photos taken in Thailand and not necessary to be current. In other words, not necessary to have been taken in the last 3 months. :D

2. Landscape mode

3. Absolute minimum resolution, 1280 wide but prefer 2400 or greater as the calendar will be printable.

4. Prefer color unless it is an exceptional b&w

5. A photo that reflects the theme of a month and specify the month. Eg, Songkran photos for April, Loy Krathong photos for November, etc.

6. Approval to allow Thaivisa to use them in the calendar.

7. Deadline for contributions, end of November

The award for selected contributions will be fame and fortune. Ok, maybe not fortune unless George wishes to supply some token prizes. :D The fame part is that your name will be watermarked on your photo giving you credit for it, unless you request otherwise.

I will be primarily the one selecting them but feedback from other members on the posted contributions are more then welcome.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys have and thanks for helping out. Here is last years (2009) calendar you can see as an example: 2009 Thaivisa Calendar

seeing as how I have more than a few sunset photos, I shall add them here for others to decide if they are TV calendar worthy or not :)

they must be horizontal, yes?

Yes (landscape) due to the format of the calendar.

I remember this year's calender that you put up 3 Pano photos of mine in a single photo so please try these for size if possible

Tywais, do you have a private email that u could share with interested photographers ?

I would prefer that rather than to publish all my pics here online.....
