The only airline to fly direct in recent years, is the charter airline Brittania Airways.

To London and Manchester.

But don`t think it`s operating at the moment though I may be mistaken

I think Monarch also flew directly to Phuket but both being charter airlines the chances of getting a one way or even return from Phuket/London would be negligible.

Actually you could get flight only with Brittania Airways if there were available seats.

Have been offered flight by Thomas Cook years ago.

Main problem only three week returns offered and poor legroom.And they refuelled in the gulf. And not really competative pricing

Can`t speak for monarch though.
