Extending Tourist Visa For 2nd Time, Possible?

Featured Replies

hello.

i have a 60 days tourist visa which i have already extended for an additional 30 days until the 14th this month. my ticket however, leaving thailand, is for the 18th (4 days after). is it possible to extend this visa one more time? i do not wish to overstay as some of my colleagues have suggested.

If you have a valid reason you may be able to get another 7-14 days so I would take the ticket and give it a try. Next best would be a border crossing to obtain a 30 day stay if you qualify for visa free entry. Unfortunately the 14 is in the middle of holiday so you are not in a good position for application or travel at last minute.

I already have the ticket for the day i'm leaving (18th). Can i submit my application on Monday the 11th? Will Immigration be open? I tried calling Suan Plu but they're not picking up.

I'm not sure if they'll be open on the 11th (knowing goverment places though there's a chance they won't).

Go down with your ticket (you could even go tomorrow) and explain the situation to them nicely and politely and I personally reckon there's a good chance you'll get it. I've got extra days this way in the past!

Good luck!

They should be open on the 11th.

13-15 April is the official holiday!!
