I've been living/working here for around 15+ years. Here are some observations:

1. Other than Muslims, most are not uncut. A few are and they weren't aware of any medical reason--apparently a family preference. Some said that their brother's weren't cut. (I should also note that there are a people who are born with foreskin that is naturally short and eventually moves behind the head of the penis--had a western friend like that). So some may have this.

2. Over the years, Thai's have gotten taller (and now fatter) and penis length has increased. When I was first here, anything bordering on western "normal" was absolutely huge. In the past 4-5 years, have run into quite a few that are really quite well endowed. Still plenty of small sized ones, though.

3. DJ: They really do like to peek. There is a lot of cultural things having to do with penis' and fertility which may account for some of this fascination. I have had a lot of straight people, who just aren't satisfied until they get a look. (OK some maybe closet cases). I also know quite a number of western straight men who run into the "peeking" problem on a regular basis. Best advice is to cuddle up close or turn a little sideways, don't make eye contact, do your business and leave. (Don't forget to wash your hands). Oh and for God's Sake--don't smile at any of them!

Okay, on this topic, today I was in way too much of a hurry, in the middle of work, when I hurried in (almost wrote 'hustled in') to the public restroom at the big mall in Chiang Mai. I was alone, until an older teenage boy hustled in and took a place two urinals to my left. He did not hug the porcelain, and showed his equipment, and kept looking over at mine.

If he had hugged the urinal and looked over, I'd just assume he was a curious young man. But is it logical to guess he was a hustler trying to pick me up?
