The typical girth or circumference is approximately 12.3 cm (4.85 in) when fully erect.

I have the same confusion. "Width" surely means diameter as you interpret, too, but that would make Thai men comparable to horses.

Circumference of 56 mm is not realistic either.

It does indeed seem to be true that Thai guys, on average, tend to be on the smaller end of the spectrum, pencil-pushers, as it were... or getting the short end of the stick.

A ways back in this thread, someone posted a study on condom sizes, and in that Adobe pdf document, there's a chart showing the results of different penis size surveys involving men from different countries. And sure enough, a Thailand survey is listed there, as well as U.S., Korea and others...

I am glad to see this topic as I have had a lot of trouble ever since I have been here.I use the biggest condoms I have been able to find [56 durex] and was with the help of my girlfriend,and I still find it very uncomfortable to put them on and they easily slide off and leave them inside her.This is to say the least a bit embarrassing!!! The measurement is the circumference of the penis and I do not consider myself to be so well endowed as to boast about it.Any help here? thanks Dougal

Maybe you could use a smaller size then they don't slide off any more.

Odd as it may sound in principle, but bigplanebluey is right...my experience is the same...the normal thai sized condoms are too tight and it actually hurts to try and roll them or slide them on...and because you're not able to fully roll them on to till the end (now I dunno of the thickness of a penis is more towards the base ? :-) ) they invariably come off during the sex act...and often times the condom stays back inside the woman as you pull out...inconvenient and probably dangerous too....

I use the durex 'comfort' condoms which are a much better fit and easy to roll on and take off too... the issue of which is more pleasurable is quite another one...a tight condom (though not too tight) does provide a closer feel thus more pleasurable comapred to a better fitting one as that can feel like wearing sheath or bag which is like a layer between the 2 bodies...

This discussion will never end...:-) I guess ease of usage is the key...and to each his own ? :-))

Here's a few offerings to solve the sizing problem, though I can't say I've seen them sold yet in Thailand....though maybe someone can point us users in the right direction locally....

Interestingly, the Trojan brands seem to be thicker, being listed at 0.0027, while the Durex brand is listed at 0.0024 thickness. Speaking from personal experience, I'd agree. The Trojan brands feel a bit like you're wearing a tube sock, while the Durex feels a bit more natural. However, if you're inclined to be overcome by the passion of the moment, the thicker Trojan model does have some advantage...

That's nothing to brag about, either...

Again, just ask the girls. On balance (with Asian girls, specifically), being a "John Holmes" isn't an advantage...

From my Sherlock Holmes-eque delving, it would appear that there is an answer to the 49-52-53-54-56 millimeters riddle. Sorry if this has been posted before but I can't be asked to read back over the last xxx pages of penis size gags.

In my quest for knowledge, I took one factory rolled "52.5mm" (stated on the box) Pleasuremax condom and measured the "O" shaped diameter to be 34mm. I then squashed the "O" shape down to flat (like when you buy a fan belt new from the shop). I then measured the width of this squashed shape to be 52.5mm.... VOILA! So the answer to the riddle is that condom sizes = 1/2 the circumference of your knob!

Now can somebody please give me a list of excuses to choose from, when the girlfriend wants to know why one of the condoms is missing .
