Pattaya, November 23 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : In the early hours of Sunday Morning, Pattaya’s SWAT Police were called into action following reports of a man shooting his gun into the air in front of the Phuket Restaurant on Pattaya Third Road. Officers were told that the man had left in a modified Red Nissan Sunny. The car and its driver were tracked to the Shell Petrol Station on the South Pattaya Road where the driver was detained and searched. He was found to be carrying 2g of Crystal Methamphetamine known in Thailand as “Ya Ice” and 1 Yabba Tablet. The target’s girlfriend, who was not arrested, was found to be carrying around 70,000 Baht. The firearm used in the shooting could not be located. Khun Sarawoot aged 30 was taken to Pattaya Police Station where he was charged with possession of class 1 drugs. He was not charged over the alleged shooting incident as the gun could not be found.
