Pattaya, December 5 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Late on Friday Night, Police and Rescue Services were called to the Ruamchock Condos located in Soi 6 off the Pratamnuk Road in South Pattaya following reports of a foreign national who had fallen to his death from a 5th floor apartment at the location. Police arrived and inspected the body of Mr. Franz Starmer aged 59 from Germany. He was found at the rear of the building, directly under his 5th floor apartment and was declared dead-at-the-scene. His distraught wife, Khun Nantiyar aged 36 was close-by and explained that her Husband was in the process of installing Christmas decorations on his balcony when he apparently lost his footing and fell to his death. Police Lieutenant Colonel Sanae from Pattaya Police Station inspected the balcony and apartment for any signs of foul play and confirmed the initial inspections suggested the death was an accident. Further forensic tests are underway before the case is closed and the German Embassy in Bangkok are aware of the case.
