Vendor Attacked At Naklua Market Following Argument Over Allegations Of Extra-marital Affair.

Featured Replies

Pattaya, December 10 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Wednesday Night, Banglamung Police were called to the New Naklua Market to deal with reports of an attack on a market vendor. Police arrived and were met by Khun Ponpan aged 48 who was shaken-up and slightly injured following blows to the side of her head. Her market stand had also been partially destroyed. She was able to explain that around 10 men including a fellow market vendor had approached her moments earlier and wanted to know more about an alleged relationship the victims daughter was having with the Husband of the other market vendor. The discussion soon became heated and one of the men used a safety helmet and struck the victim across the head multiple times. The 10 men and the other market vendor then fled the scene. A Police report of the incident was made and arrest warrants for those involved in the attack are expected to be issued in due course.
