Dry Cleaning Places In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Does anyone know a good dry cleaning place near Sathorn or Silom area?

I'm a bit skeptical about how "dry" cleaning actually is done here... I was once told that the dry cleaning chemicals can be bought at the local Tesco "supermarkets"... only to find out that I was being directed to one of those "Essence" liquid detergents.

I'm not convinced that people actually know what "dry cleaning" is... I do know that special liquid and machinery is required, I don't think it can be done by hand.

Greatly appreciated if anyone can give suggestions, pointers, advice.

There is a place inside Sathorn Thani (back building), the Standard Chartered Building at Chong Nonsi. Easier still, just enlist someone from your building (maid) to sort it out mate.

There is a place at the front of the former Tower Inn (a big hotel on the south side of Silom, about 500 m west of Narathiwat Road.) I think the hotel is now called the Unicom Grande Silom, or something like that.

What a co-inky-dink. I was just about to ask the same question. Mine however has the emphasis on "very good" dry cleaning service. I've tried several, used by the condo in Sathorn, with ok results. I'm really looking for top notch to dry clean silk. There used to be an outlet in Central World operated by The Oriental, but I never tried it. Anyone experienced it?
