Update On Don's

Featured Replies

I will be in Chiang Rai from Jan. 18 to Jan. 20. I envite you come by for a free beer or drink of your choice after 18:00 to discuss what is currently wrong and what you would like to see changed with regards to the Deli, Bakery and Cafe. This would including stocking and menu items.

The current management has turned the place into Esan Don's because I am not there to supervise. I have hired a total of 21 local people and non of them want to walk the line and do the job for the customer. Therefore, I have to personally supervise the place. This can only take place after Don's Mall is closed in April.

I plan to ship cold storage units from Phuket to Chiang Rai in order to store more meat and cheese products.

Any constructive comments would be appreciated as I want to serve the needs of my customers.

Great to see that you are rehabbing the place; your concern says much about the quality to be expected in the future. Don't be gone from Phuket too much, we need you here to run the flagship <grin>.

Don, I've eaten there half a dozen times and the service is no worse than anywhere else in Thailand.

The food is excellent.

The only regular criticism I've heard offered is that you are too far out of town but I have no problem with that as I find it a great place to have lunch while showing visitors the Mae Kok river.

Oh, and one clown said the chilis not hot enough. :)
