Hua Hin Hotel

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a disabled friend visiting next week and need to find him a hotel in Hua Hin. Obviously the room must have full disabled facilities, ideally have a pool, located on the beach or second road with of a budget under 2000b a night.

(Also need room in Pattaya, Ao Nang Krabi and Lamai Koh Samui, but will post in local forums.)

Many thanks.

I know that Hin Nam Say Suay Hotel located just North of Hua Hin has just redone their whole hotel building to accommodate handicapped people, with slopes and stuff. Link: http://www.hotelthailand.com/huahin/hin-nam-sai-suay/

:) right the Hin Nam Say Suay Hotel finished just end of December his renovation and it looks great in the rooms. I just bring my friends 1 week ago.

But I am not sure (I do not toke special attention) if this hotel accomodate handicapped people. From the Main entry and side entry you have few stairs to reach the elevators. Swimmingpool haven't any sunshine whole day because hidden between hotel and condominium buildings. NO beach for swimm really, Hotel crew propose himself Hua Hin or Cha Am beach.

Best is ask straight, the hotel manager speak a passable English http://www.hinnamsaisuay1.com/index_eng.html

check too hotels for wheelchairs http://www.asiatraveltips.com/WheelchairAc...nThailand.shtml

Many thanks for the info will check it out. Any other suggestions welcomed.

Just a word of warning. Many places will say tat they are accessible but often that just means there is a 45% ramp which they will manhandle you up. Bathrooms will often have a step and the door will be too narrow. There probably will not be rails.

However people will help you a lot even to the stage of removing the bathroom door,. It depends on how independent the person is and what his real needs are.

I sugggest being specific on these needs.
