January 9, 201016 yr I have a cheap Otto oven which I use occasionally to roast small food items. It has four pencil type elements (two at the top and two at the bottom), and one of the bottom ones has failed. I know a replacement oven wouldn't cost much, but like to fix things were possible and have checked that I could disconnect the element fairly easily. Does anybody know where one can buy replacement elements? Ideally this would be in Khon Kaen or central Isaan, but I could buy one on a trip to BKK. I've tried a few electrical shops on Suk near Washington Square but they didn't have anything similar.
January 10, 201016 yr Suggest you contact Otto in Bkk on 02 888 3555. In the past I have been able to order minor parts from other Thai manufacturers, over the phone, and have them delivered by mail.

Thanks for the number. I will try it if I can't find a retail outlet for what is probably a standard component.
