Thailand Phil Concert - Jan.15 And 16, 2010

Featured Replies

Join the TPO and the Polish Embassy in a celebration of the famous Polish Composer Frederic Chopin. Concerts are Friday, Jan. 15 at 7pm and Saturday, Jan. 16th at 4 pm. Ticket prices are 500 baht. For concert information (conductor, soloist biography, etc) check here - http://www.thailandphil.com If you are interested in the shuttle bus from the BTS the schedule is here - http://www.music.mahidol.ac.th/salayalink/

The specific info for Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake is at http://www.thailandphil.com/chopin-200th-anniversary/ .

Only 5 centre rows have the 500 baht seats, the rest are 300 baht. The ordering policy is you reserve the ticket by phone, then transfer the money to their bank account and fax them the deposit slip - at least one hour before the concert starts, but the sooner the better. You can also buy tickets for future concerts at the venue.

The shuttle bus makes getting there very easy. It leaves from Wongwien Yai BTS station Exit 4 at 3.20pm on Saturdays. Cost 25 baht, and you need to have the right change. The return shuttle leaves the campus 15 minutes after the concert ends.
