Man Electrocuted As He Catches Fish In Local Lake

Featured Replies

On Tuesday night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Pramot from Banglamung Police Station was called to a lake located close to a factory to investigate reports of a fatality at the location. Police arrived at the lake and inspected the body of Khun Supagit aged 35 who had sustained burn marks to his right hand and appeared to be in the process of catching fish using an electrically charged rod, which is a common method of fishing as it can produce a large catch in a small period of time. Evidence was clear that he was using such a method to catch fish and following an inspection of the body and surrounding area, the cause of death was confirmed as electrocution. The body was found by Khun Wunpen aged 47 who lives with the victim and was concerned that he had not returned from his fishing trip.

Shocking accident, hopefully he will have better luck in his next life, condolences to his loved ones.

Maybe this is why I never catch anything when fishing in a public waterway here....I'm not netting every creature down to the size of a fingernail or shocking the sh*t out of everything.

<deleted> was he using an extension lead plugged into the mains?

Not a nice way to go, rip anyway.

Guess he had already graduated past dynamite fishing. The human body makes a great earth stake though.
