Steering Damper

Featured Replies

Anyone have any sort of steering dumper that will fit a 2001 gsxr 750. I don't feel like paying 10-15k baht for a new one.

Try ebay - they're small enough that it would probably sail thru customs if you can find a seller who will ship to Thailand. Shipping shouldn't be too much either. If you gotta buy local maybe Dirt Shop or Red Baron?

I was hoping for a second hand one in good condition.

My damper is missing the little lock ball and have no idea where I can get one.

Red Baron used parts warehouse perhaps. You'd have to go and have a look.

Paddock sells generic dampers. Might be worth a look and is near MRT.

If it is just the threaded ball end you need. Small Thai bikes have steering dampers and you may be able to get the ball near Saphan Kwai BTS. There are two or three accessory/parts stores there.

Apologies for not being specific. I found a used damper in a big bike repair shop in Pattaya, didn't work and leaks oil but hey you win some you lose some.
