German Resident Falls To His Death In Naklua

Featured Replies

Early on Wednesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Paksar from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Kimhan Apartment and Mansion located in Soi 27 off the Naklua Road to investigate the apparent suicide of a German National. At the base of the building and in front of the main entrance was the body of Mr. Gunter Kirt Zwirner aged 71. He was only partially clothed and was known to reside in room number 806, the balcony of which was directly over the location of the body, suggesting he had fallen from his room. Other residents confirmed that the man was on the balcony and appeared to jump, there appeared to be no one else inside the apartment at the time of the suspected suicide. For now, little is known about the reason behind the suicide but Police suspect he may have either domestic, financial or health issues which led him to take his own life. A post mortem examination is now underway and the German Embassy are looking further into Mr. Zwirner’s life at this time. The case continues.
