Non Imm B Renewal

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 1 year non imm B visa that is about to expire. This one I got in Sweden while I was still there. It cost a bundle. First 8000 Baht to get a sponsor in Thailand, then another 5500 Baht visa fee to the embassy + shipping costs.

My question is, can this type visa be renewed in Thailand?

If yes - what do I need in terms of paperwork, where can I do it (Pattaya/Bangkok) and how much will it cost approximately?

If no - do I have to get it renewed back in Sweden again with the same costs/hassle as before or is there a better way?

Thanks ,Tony

There is not enough information to reply. Unless you hold a work permit you cannot extend that visa and will need to apply again outside Thailand. You could talk to Sunbelt or Indo-Siam as either of them are capable of helping you get a new visa closer than Sweden.
