I'll admit that my experience of the 90's is rather Brit-centric but then I was back in blighty at the time and it was a great place to be then: Britpop, Euro 96, booming economy, fantastic summers..... the list goes on. Maybe my youth (and certain chEmicals) at the time gave me a rose tinted view but it was certainly my heyday.

I spent nearly the entire decade on an small island that, at the time, had limited electricity so we didn't bother with the t, we didn't have a phone until near the end of the decade. no internet (came much later if we will all recall), thats when I met Seal and had no idea who he was.

Ok, here’s why – I hate this song with a vengeance but it was incredibly popular in Japan for some reason and the UK I think.

The guy who shot it was a mate of a mate, and it was his first ever music video, funded on a shoestring, so a friend and I agreed to help him out by appearing in it for free, and we appear as the police in the police car at around the 2 minute mark.

It was shot at 4am in Chiswick in London, and we still had to go to work next day.

I was astonished when I saw it on Top of the Pops about a month later.
