Featured Replies

Just after 7pm on Wednesday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Chatchai from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Bali Hai Port located at the southern end of Pattaya Beach following the discovery of a floating corpse at the location. Rescue Workers were called in to remove the body from the sea. The fully clothed man was named as Khun Art aged 34. Khun Pishit aged 33 identified the body as that of a work colleague. He worked for a construction company who were contacted to perform maintenance work on the overpass which leads to the Bali Hai Port. The man was known to have been employed by the company for only 1 week and had been missing for the last 2 days. He was a heavy drinker and following an inspection of the body which showed no signs of visible trauma, Police suspect he may have gone to the port in a drunken state and fell into the sea and drowned. A post mortem examination will take place to confirm the exact cause of death before Police close the case.
