Karaoke Dj Shot Dead As He Drinks With Friends At His Bar

Featured Replies

Just after 2am on Saturday, Police and rescue services were called to an outdoor Karaoke Bar located on the Pattanagan Road, East of Pattaya to deal with a fatal shooting. At the scene, Police inspected the body of Khun Surachaert aged 25, who was employed as the DJ at the Bar. He had been shot in the side of the head and was pronounced dead-at-the-scene. A further man, Khun Naraert aged 23, a good friend of the victim was also injured by the same bullet which passed through the deceased man and hit him close to his ear, causing a flesh wound. There were a number of witnesses to the attack who explained that the dead man was one of three men sitting and drinking together. Two unknown Thai Men approached them and without notice, one of them pulled out a gun and shot in the direction of the deceased man. Police are sure this was a pre-planned attack and are looking into the dead mans domestic and financial status as they search for a motive behind the attack, and more importantly search for the shooter and his accomplice who remain at large.

My condolences to the family, friends and customers.

I wonder why the police frequently say they are looking at the victim. It might be wiser to look for the killers first and keep the victims life out of the public eye.

It seems to be it assumes that the victims of crimes are at fault from the git-go.
