you are in exactly the same boat as me, it would appear that nobody seems to know for sure. I am supposed to be going tomorrow (Last day for my Son) so will more than likely press on. I have asked the questions in two places, with no joy as yet, but I am sure that Somone will know and post.

Have you tried calling Immigration at Mae Sai 0-5373-1008 ext. 11, 12 ?
