You can use 007 on a TOT line for cheaper int calls and 008 from 1 2 Call AIS for cheaper calls.

TOT 007

TOT 007 and 008

I think 009 could be used also, but not sure what for

totster :D

If you have broadband internet, download Skype for free (www.skype.com), buy a cheap headset (with two plugs, one for microphone and one for headphones) and buy so called SkypeOut credits. This will enable you to call the UK at almost local rates, and with surprisingly good sound quality.

To broadband internet users with Skype, you can call for free (voicechat).

try 001-809 from your home phone...............009 is from your mobile

I use Skype with dial up, both to landline and computer still worth the money. Sometimes amazingly good.

I second (third??) the Skype option. If you've not tried it get yourself a mic. and speakers (or a cheap headset) and give it a go. :o

Skype to Skype calls are FREE anywhere in the world. Calls to landlines are reasonably priced using the Skype-out function.

Free download from www.skype.com

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

If you can get a credit card billing and shipping address in the UK, try Vonage. 9.99 a month for unlimited calls to UK & Ireland landlines and it works with a regular phone so you don't have to have the computer on (or with a cordless phone, don't even have to be in the same room).

I know you can get boxes that do the same for Skype (we have one of those as well) but we find the call quality is better with Vonage and people can call you on a local UK number as well.

It's cheaper than 001 809 but international rates tend to be more than Skypeout. UK rates may be cheaper than Skypeout - depends how much you talk per month! :o
