looking for decent iphone apps that work in thailand anybody either got any or know of any good sites that actually work over here for the likes of facebook,maps,gps,soundbooster,tones, etc etc

Do you have a data plan for your simcard? The facebook app works without any issues.

The download site for Facebook, and everything else, is the iTunes store. Facebook is a free download and it works fine.

There is a Thailand version of the iTunes store; but it only has applications (no music or movies). There are GPS, navigation and maps applications available, depends on what functionality you are looking for.

I assure you with absolute certainty and without any doubt that you are doing something wrong. All apps work just fine on the iphone in Thailand. There is no special app or special site. |All apps are downloaded from itunes. The only exception is pirated software which we cannot discuss here
