Best Option For Cable/sat Tv?

Featured Replies

My mother and father are staying in my house in CM for a few weeks. I wanted to have them set up a cable or sat TV system while they are there. The previous owner had the house set up for a sat dish and I was wondering what is the best bang for my buck? Cable or Sat TV? Any recomendations?

Thanks

Scott

If you can get the cable laid on where you are go for it the programs are better and it is only 350B a month where you will pay around 1500B a month for sat . i have sat and the only reason for that is i can not get cable where i am to far out of town

Bobm,

Thanks for the info, makes sence to me since I'm not a full timer.

Do you have any idea as how far out of town the cable system runs?

My moo baan is out between the cannal road and Grace international school.

WETV is the cable company that charges on 350 a month. It's ok but has the basic channels that farang want (BBC, CNN, etc). I think that it's only available near CENTRAL dept store. Their office is about a block from CENTRAL. Other than that, I think you have to get UBC that is about 1200 a month plus installation.

WETV does not go out of town at all. It does not even reach Lotus on the Hang Dong road, so I'm afraid Satellite is your only option.

WETV covers most of the city and somebody told me went out to Koolpuntville moo bahn 6 -7.

Try checking at their office on Huay Kaew Rd
