I'm going to Korat tomorrow and want to find the zoo. I'll be coming from the North(Mitrapap Road). Could someone tell me where the zoo is please and if it's easy to find.

Take Highway 2 towards Bangkok. After you pass the Sima Thani Hotel you will go over an overpass then get on the service road as you will be taking highway 304 south towards Pak Thong Chai. Go about 5 or 6 km and you will see a sign on the left side of the highway that says Korat Zoo. Make a left and the zoo is just down this road. Have a good time.

P.S. There is also a Water Park next to zoo in case you get hot.

Not far from the Zoo is the Petrified Wood Museum which is run by a university.

It also has a Dinasaur museum and ancient elephant museum too.

Very interesting and well worth a visit while you are down that way.

Took the family to Korat zoo in October and can thoroughly recommend it as a very enjoyable day out.Well worth the visit if you have kids.

Sounds good, I must visit the next time I head up that way.

To be honest, the only zoo I visited so far is Dusit.
