What To Do After Laos 2 Times

Featured Replies

I have been to Vientiane a couple of times and got 2 x 2 months both times. 2. March I bought one

more month at immigration in Bangkok. This time my visa says :

EXTENSION OF STAY PERMITTED UP TO 31. MARCH

HOLDER MUST LEAVE THE KINGDOM WITHIN THIS DATE.

OFFENDERS WILL BE PROCECUTED

SIGNED IMMIGRATION OFFICER

TO KEEP YOUR STAY PERMIT REENTRY PERMIT MUST BE MADE BEFORE LEAVING THAILAND

NOTIFICATION OF RESIDENCE MUST BE MADE EVERY 90 DAYS

I must be out before 31. March. I have a flight to Saigon on 4. April. My question is ? Can I buy

7 days at immigration after having just bought 30 days ? Will i get into trouble by overstaying 4 days?

Will i get 30 days when i fly in again ?

Thanks a lot for any answers

A show of your ticket and normal 1,900 baht should get you 7 days. If you overstay 4 days you would have to pay 2,000 baht and could go to jail if something happened. I would advise you obtain a new extension next week to cover your stay.

Did you take a really close look at that 31 MARCH stamp? any chance it says 31 March, 2011??

The mention of 90 day reporting puzzles me and I wonder if somehow they did a chance of visa status and gave you an Non-Immigrant "O"

Not likely for sure but the text is puzzling.
