Cross The Border At Mae Sai

Featured Replies

I have a one year visa extention single entry on a Non-Imm O visa. Do I need a 1000Bt reentry permit to cross to Laos for a few hours to shop.

Thanks

Burma, Burma from MaeSai, not Laos.

Get a VIP pass, 100 baht, no stamps in passport, no compromising visa.

Just take 2 copies of the front page of your passport. There's a number on posts on this in the fixed MaeSai border thread you'll see at the top of the sub forum page.

Do I presume correctly that I get the VIP pass at Imigration or do I get it at the border crossing

At the border. The photocopy shop is to your left, 2 copies for 6 baht.
