Golf Channel

Featured Replies

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the Golf Channel is now on channel 158. I found it by accident as I was looking to see which channels to skip with the new additions. I have the Platinum package and I don't know if it only comes with this or with all as I haven't seen any advertisements on it. Anyway, a lot about Tiger etc.

Hot da-mmmmmmm. :D

OPS, Sucks no english :)

Mines in english..have been watching it for about three weeks now. Have you made sure that you are set to english and not thai..do it in the menu

I am on gold too and thanks for the tip...I wasn't aware!

The golf channel was added to UBC in early March. Some of the programs are Thai only. Some are English. From what i know, UBC is giving to everyone for free for now but I expect that it will be added to a package soon or become an ala carte item meaning no pay no access. They tease you now then pay later. FYI, the Golf Channel from Astro Malaysia in on Phuket Cable, Channel 40. It is all in English and i find the programming better. It does not show the same programs as the Thai Golf Channel. In the evening, sometimes Phuket Cable stops the golf channel and shows football from DSTV in its place.

  • 2 months later...

As of 1st July  you pay. 200 baht per month I think. They can stick it. Glad that I don't have to listen to Renton Laidlaw laugh at his weak  jokes and beg my pardon every other minute for his cockups.
