My wife's father, aged 80 and his mother, aged 99 years and 10 months.

Anyone top this for a total mother and son age..... locals only need enter!

I can't top that, sceadugenga. The wife's grandparents are long gone.

I will one day put down to print the story of her grandfather. It is a good one. Until then, I am interested to see if anyone can top your offering. That's a lot of life that those two represent. I hope you're learning and documenting their stories.

My wife's family has not been blessed with longevity. There has been far too much death in her family over the last several years. All four grandparents, father, brother and other aunts and cousins. Every family is different.

I doubt I'll make it VF, too hard a life in my younger day.... Ohhhh... you mean Granny? No idea, I suppose I'll be told the morning of the event as per usual.

Possibly still be in Australia anyway.
