Cha Am...

Featured Replies

Whats the story with Cha am this weekend???......full to the brim, roads congested till 8pm last night and again already, the only place that is quite is the bus station.. I know there is a classic bike show but that is minimal...not seen it like this befor.

The Honda Music Fest in Takiab has drawn over 100,000 Thais from Bangkok to the area... traffic is a nightmare and most accommodations are fully booked.

Kids holidays, 2 days off (May 3 and May 5) and a big concert in HH yesterday (Honda Summer Festival).

There is a new shortcut on the left side of the curve before the main intersection (when coming from BKK). It leads to the hospital road and from there you can go to the north side of the beach without too much traffic. To go to the southside end, you can pass the main intersection and turn left later on (either after the footpath - opposite the park - or at the sign indicating the Grand Pacific Sovereign hotel).

Suppose the wonderfull seafood, great beach, markets, people and normally laid back atmosphere is one reason to play a wide berth to Cha am :)
