May 12, 201015 yr Just tried spirit jailbreak on my factory unlocked iPhone 3GS with 3.1.3 - works great. One click to jailbreak. Note that this doesn't unlock your phone should you have accidentally have locked your phone by updating to 3.1.3. But it jailbreaks and installs Cydia in a second. Get it while it lasts (e.g. before Apple shuts it down): http://spiritjb.com/ I would maybe not have tried this but having lots of connectivity issues with True 3G and I needed to restore anyway as my phone was borked, so I thought I'd give this a try and go to 3.1.3 which has a new baseband which might fix my 3G problems... PS: Even though Apple likes everyone to think so, jailbreaking is not illegal. It's perfectly legal and within your rights actually.
May 12, 201015 yr I second the OP. Have a 3Gs on Blackra1n and because it was tethered... I re-jailbroke it using Spirit. Did not even need to reload the cracked apps. Love it!
