Blackout in Thalang tomorrow

THALANG: -- The Thalang office of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced power cuts to carry out maintenance on high voltage wires tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.

Affected areas are along the west side of Thepkrasattri Road, from the offices of the Kata Thai Company (near the old Siam City Cement plant) all the way to the Muang Thalang School.

From the south, affected areas and companies include: Baan Lipon Hua Harn; Baan Term Fun Project; Phanason Park Ville III (Baan Lipon); Baan Pon housing estate; Baan Kluay; Baan Ya; Akachai Housing Project; Baan Tung Sea Kuan; Baan Nai Klum; the soi next to Krabi Ruamtun Company; the soi next to Bangkok Bank, Thalang branch; Kbank, Thalang branch; Pranangsrang Temple; 7-Eleven, Thalang Market; Siam Commercial Bank, Thalang branch; Baan Khun Pu Restaurant; Thalang Furniture; Baan Takain; Baan Mud Doog Khaw; Baan Pru Champa; Baan Pru Somparn; Baan Bang Pring; Baan Park Pree, and Muang Thalang School.

Amazing! I have lived in Phuket for 8 years now but this is the first time I have ever received advanced notice of blackout. Yes, the Phuket Gazette occasionally prints such info, but that usually seems to show up after the fact.
