PATTAYA:-- Two Burmese male sex workers have been arrested in Jomtien on Monday. The pair were arrested after a theft was reported by a French national living at the View Talay Condominium 1 complex of Thappraya Road.

Pattaya, the 24th of May 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 6:00pm on Monday, police Colonel Nunthawut Suwanla-ong (Pattaya Police Superintendent) and his team successfully arrested two Burmese men at the View Talay Condominium 1 complex in Jomtien. The pair had allegedly burgled a French national’s apartment, angry after having not been paid for sexual services rendered on the previous night.

Such a wonderful choice of words gotlost. Pun intended I'm sure.

I didn't read any statement whatsoever by the Frenchman that he did not pay for the sex services. Perhaps he didn't pay what they expected in an up to you situation, that is hardly non-payment. The presumed thieves said that he didn't pay. You believe their word as fact, based on what basis? Perhaps they were paid AND they were thieves, not exactly an uncommon pairing of old professions. The homophobic remarks are distasteful. Grow up!

Its kind of a difficult legal situation for the Frenchman even if he did pay. If he says he did pay, he is confessing to illegal activity.

Anyway, thanks to the news for posting the pictures of the presumed thieves, it's good to expose public hazards.

No problems in reporting an illegal act, they were Burmese. The authorities would not even notice other problems.
