hi can anyone help me to get an oil pump for my d max 4jh1 2003 3ltr. one of my big ends went and spun the bearing shells in the conrod and sized the engine the engine has only 120000 km i change the oil and filter every 5000 km and is never driven hard, i have had the crank reground with new bearings but because it is an import here in the UK the isuzu dealers are not interested so can any one help please and get me a price for an oil pump. thanks bill

Just a thought - I would be very surprised if the pump was a part unique to that model.

I'd look around at other Izusu (or GM engines) that look the same and check the part against yours.

yes i have had the rod on number 3 repaired and the others checked and were OK, i am thinking of fitting new pistons there is a bit of play in the small ends but it is the pins worn not the bushes in the rods,

can anyone tell me if the oil pump on a 3.1 or 2.5 is the same as the 3ltr.
