Agent for Illegal Loan Shark Shot Dead in Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- An agent for an illegal loan shark was shot at close range in the Pattaya area last night and later died in hospital from his injuries.

Pattaya 6th June 2010 [PDN] At 8.00 pm Police Colonel Somnuk Janket (Banglamung Police Superintendent) was notified that a man had been shot and severely injured at 152/20 Jaophraya Village, Soi 13, Takian Tia, Banglamung. He was sent to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital for treatment. The officer and his team went to investigate.

The injured man was Mr. Metheekarn Sakdawichit [39] had been shot with a shotgun on left breast and shoulder, with a total of 6 wounds. He later died after doctors tried without success to save him.
