As i have posted a few items here about my g/f i am wanting to know about the financial evidence, I have been awared a sum of money from accident as i now only work p/time i dont save on regular basis, I have a bank statement about how much money is my account and ill provide letter from my lawyer as to my payout, Will the Australian Embassy accept that evidence of funds? I have written a letter to provide along with the bank statement and it tells them how i dont work full time since my accident and i have the financial backing for my g/f while she visits Australia as a sponsored visitor...I also tell of the medical and travel insurance and her airfare for the visit, Hope they will accept the financial evidence?

Also my g/f has just told me she is getting her letter from University she attended that says she has to graduate in January. Will they accept that as genuine reason for returning to Thailand? Getting close until i return to Thailand so i want to have all my documents and hers prepared properly so she will be granted her visa.. Wait for some comments...Cheers

Don't emabassies usually ask for the last six months bank statements/ pay slips etc? This is to show you have an income and can support your partner even if the work is only part time. If you have evidence of the payout, lawyer's letter for example, then you should submit that also. In general, embassies won't accept written letters from yourself guranteeing to sponsor your partner, you have to show means from official sources eg. bank, companies or in your case a payout after an accident.

The university letter should suffice as genuine reason to return to Thailand.
