Oki Printer And Ubuntu 10.04

Featured Replies

I have an opportunity of buying an OKI C110 colour laser for a good price but can't find out if it is Ubuntu compatible. Has anyone had experience getting this model to work. If not anyone know of a bargain basement price on a colour laser, as I am a volunteer it must be cheap, otherwise will buy a mono. I have tried a few inkjets with original and tank cartridges but have had a lot of problems.

Loving Ubuntu 10.04 its great.

A quick google tells me this is a winprinting only printer... There is a model C130n that has postscript and pcl and that works with Linux...

Thanks for that. That is all I could find on it. Was hoping that someone had tried it. Looks like I will have to look elsewhere.

Not so long ago I got a email from Lexmark that they going to support all Lexmark printers for the popular Linux distributions. Look for a little Piquing on the box (must be in the same area as the MS Win, Apple OS X logos).

That could be worth a look at Commart next week.
