Wikileaks Watch

Wikileaks is a pain in the behind for governments, especially the US government which seems to be the main target. I have read very little that surprised me and even less that disappointed me. It's a little like eavesdropping on someone's private conversations.

I think the remarks by the leaders of Singapore were more embarrassing to them than the US. I think the remarks by the Privy Council was much more damaging to them than to the US.

In the end most of these documents are declassified and available for review by historians and interested parties. Most diplomats know that what they right will enter the public domain sooner or later.
