If it is an on-going policy of the US military to target civilians then I am 100% behind the idea of a whistle blower to bring this to light & put a stop to it. However, If it is an unfortunate accident then I am 100% against spreading the video around the world because it WILL BE used for propoganda purposes by our enemies which in turn will lead to more inoccent deaths.

I understand that possibility but anytime ...anyone suggests covering up deaths whether accidental or not...Well it is a slippery slope & can come back to haunt 10x over.

Propaganda is a bad thing but the truth is a better ally. Would I rather have some BS propaganda that has no legs to stand on ( because if the truth is admitted that is all it is )...

...or would I rather have families of the victims that know what really happened & folks with actual videos coming out of the wood work after the denials?

We as individuals know that in this world our word is all we have. We should expect the same of those that wield much more power in our name around the world.

Harcourt:

You must not get out a lot. Do you date real girls or do most of your dates simply munch on the lawn? I am very concerned about your health and want to advise you to try and make new friends. Listening to "Baaa" all the time seems to have affected you. :)

PS: See what you could have learned if you had visited my site? Now,isn't my response more entertaining and far more original than yours? And it isn't nearly as insulting or tedious. :D

A very disappointing response chuck. Usualy you can muster some sort of feeble reparte that occassionaly I have had a modicum of respect for, but this is just pathetic.

I (again) make allowances for your advancing senility, however, the advance seems to be accelarating, which is a concern.

Take more iron in your diet, and Omega 3, and keep up the multi-vitamins....and stay away from aluminium cooking utensils (if it's not too late!). Please.

I point out a real and valid analogy with your stance, and you don't defend it, you merely respond with a very tired and trite reference to sheep in NZ.....You're not up to scratch at all. Tut tut tut.

Your claim that you occassionally (sic) have a modicum of respect for my answers, yet my alleged senility seems to be accelarating (sic) is refreshing indeed. I do appreciate your efforts to look after my health with your dietary recommendations and will look into your suggestions. After all, what are ex-meat inspectors good for if one cannot follow their dietary recommendations? :)

I did notice your tired and trite (I used it first!) analogy about the Nazi Concentration Camps and decided to mostly ignore it, The reason for ignoring your tired and trite analogy is due to the fact that you are the one that seems to dislike all things Jewish, not me. It would be similar to me asking you a question about your Conservative leanings when, as a Conservative myself, I know you have none. I am sure you can see and understand my dilemma.

I sincerely hope this response is more to your liking and you will occassionally (sic) find your respect for me accelarating (sic) to a higher plane.

TaTa.

Harcourt does indeed expend an awful lot of energy decrying all things Jewish and making up reasons why the Holocaust is not really all that important. He only seems to be repelled at Nazi activities when it comes to using them as an absurd analogy to condemn the Israeli government.  :)

As long as the teenagers who where seduced or economically forced to join the army and subsequently brainwashed follow the rules of engagement (Shoot on sight for example), it is not against the law.

What a great excuse isn't it?

Just following orders Chuckie, Yeah I killed more than a dozen ragheads, who cares...I am covered by the rules of engagement.

Pretty much, yeah.

The left will never understand why anyone would want to serve their country by joining the military. Why do young people in countries like Holland, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Switzerland to name a few join their military? With the exception of the UK & Australia it certainly isn't to fight.

Great new docu-movie for those with a good internet connection: Collapse

A bit off topic.. but he does talk about the fall of the US empire...

Americans generally like to hear good news. They like to believe that a new president will right old wrongs, that clean energy will replace dirty oil and that fresh thinking will set the economy straight. American pundits tend to restrain their pessimism and hope for the best. But is anyone prepared for the worst?

Meet Michael Ruppert, a different kind of American. A former Lost Angeles police officer turned independent reporter, he predicted the current finacial crisis in his self-published newsletter. From the Wilderness, at a time when most Wall Street and Washington analysts were still in denial. Director Chris Smith has shown an affinity for outsiders in films like American Movie and The Yes Men. In Collapse, he departs stylistically from his past documentaries by interviewing Ruppert in a format that recalls the work of Errol Morris and Spalding Gray.

Sitting in a room that looks like a bunker, Ruppert recounts his career as a radical thinker and spells out the crises he sees ahead. He draws upon the same news reports and data available to any Internet user, but he applies a unique interpretation. He is especially passionate about the issue of "peak oil," the concern raised by scientists since the seventies that the world will eventually run out of fossil fuel. While other experts debate this issue in measured tones, Rupperts doesn't hold back at sounding an alarm, portraying an apocalyptic future. Listening to his rapid flow of opinions, the viewer is likely to question some of the rhetoric as paranoid or deluded, and to sway back and forth on what to make of the extremism. Smith lets viewers form their own judgments.

Collapse also serve as a portrait of a loner. Over the years, Ruppert has stood up for what he believes in despite fierce opposition. He candidly describes the sacrifices and motivators in his life. While other observers analyze details of the economic crisis, Ruppert views it as symptomatic of nothing less than the collapse of industrial civilization itself.

I don't know where that came from!. Gosh, the subject was whistleblowers and somehow Israel is brought into it. A post that epitomises why I ignore that dense fellow. Someone should tell him that "Jews" does not neccessarily mean "Israelis".

I have no reason for any sort of tirade, especially in this thread where you, chuck, are on the back foot regarding your condemnation of whistle blowers and implied support for Nazi guards.

Is that particular twisting of my words a symptom of senility or arrogance.... or an underlying desire to gain some respect from me?

Indeed "tired and trite" was yours. I was quite obvious in using it. If you feel the need to "claim" such a simple phrase, at least don't make it tired and trite by overuse. A cute irony.

Someone might remind Mr. Harcourt that he has made a good number of negative references to both over a long perod of time as well as constantly questioning the importance of the holocaust. Some people are just not very successful at hiding their true agenda.

That is actually a good watch/primer for those that have never looked at things like

Peak Oil

The financial crisis & derivatives

Fiat Currency & FED reserve

Fractional reserve banking

Not that you will learn enough from this short show but it does give a quick short look at many things.

Also it is not about the collapse of the US Empire per se'

More like a reminder that it is all collapsing..WORLD WIDE as we speak.

One of the analogies I remember from that show that I liked was the one about the titanic.

He said...If folks or some folks knew the titanic was about to sink...& knew it lacked enough life boats

They would go about building life boats

While doing so they would encounter 3 types of folks ...

1) Folks reacting like deer caught in headlights...just stunned basically useless

2) folks who understood that their survival may depend on this

3) The folks who would say..No Way !! This is the Titanic !! The greatest ship on Earth it will never fail.

cmon you guys, time to give it a rest

Indeed I misread. My bad.

Continued use of the Nazi reference to anybody that disagrees with me? Have I ever compared koheesti or ug to a Nazi? I often disagree with both of them. Actually, I can't recall evr before even mentioning Nazis in any context. You grossly exagerate, or as is your notoriety, lie.

You'll have to point those references out because, other than my reference to Nazis in this thread with regard to your decrying of whistleblowers, I can't recall any other time, or any other person to whom I have made a Nazi reference.

I'm not trying hard at all. It's all very casual to me. To one of your decrepitness, it would appear to be trying hard, but it's not hard at all. You have shown that you are impressed before. :D

It seems more and more apparent to me that there isn't much of a 'USA' anymore...

The concept of American supremecy is dependant upon Europe being stable.. and the USA/allies having enough pawns left on the grand chessboard.

Which is why the 'US' bailed out European banks, and has had to throw everything it has into the middle east. With the collapse of the USSR it seems the whole of Eastern europe has gone to pot... which means the EU will, which means China and Russia will try to exert more pressure there...

looks like another cold war is brewing.

It will be interesting to see how many anti-establishment  posts will be allowed on the Internet when China is the big kahuna.  :whistling:

Hey, Harcourt, for what its worth, I'll be cheering for you guys against the flopping Italians today. ;)

Don't expect any war dances....

"Will you do the haka like your rugby team?,'' a European reporter asked.

"Skinny white guys doing the haka? That would be very intimidating,'' Nelsen (NZ skipper) said.

It seems more and more apparent to me that there isn't much of a 'USA' anymore...

True in many ways.....Central Banks & their interplay has already homogenized much.

Americas supremacy as you call it is nothing more than the seigniorage of their USD being the world reserve currency for now.

All things move in cycles & this one is coming to a close & that seems obvious to most.

Of course folks have to realize when I speak like that I mean the same as that short film when I say coming to a close I mean transitioning. Who knows how long that takes....20-50 years? But also the transition started when? Some would say the 70's

When the USSR did their thing remember what happened? Cuba told all their people to grow food. They went through a tough patch but eventually were eating pretty good or better than before. But things did change didn't it. China already does for the most part or is able to anyway...& by grow I do not mean with tons of equipment that costs money & fuel.

But yes as you say Europe is going & so is many others as in..... all.

GB is in deep crap..Greece is obviously...Who is next? Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland

The shell game, ponzi scheme is all coming due in many places at the same time it seems.

Interesting times to say the least.

Maybe it’s time to figure out which countries could support themselves. After all gaining foreign currency in the end comes down to producing some kind of product or service that people from other countries are willing to pay for.

Perhaps the world markets are so intertwined that a scaling back of international connections is impossible.

There are a couple of states in the US that could be self sufficient, Arkansas is one so I hear.

The US could support itself with food and energy with a little help from Canada for oil I guess.

The death of the US dollar has been heralded on TV many times without much correctness.

China has always been a long term thing. If the Chinese could agree on anything they would really be a threat.

California has normally been ranked as the 8th largest economy in the world. With Texas, New York and Florida not far behind.

If you add the GDP of California and Texas the total is larger than the UK. Only two states and you have an economy larger than the UK!

Put together California and New York and they have a GDP larger than France and you begin to wonder why that little country talks so big.

Australia has an economy slightly larger than Florida but not as large as New York.

Correct, most of them join because they can't find a job in the private or government sector or they are tricked into believing they go there for some kind of rebuilding project.

You sound almost relieved. what an impressive feat. Actually, I have been to both Malaysia and Indonesia and lived to talk about it. Do you think that someone might give us a medal?  :D

I even got laid and drank beer in Malaysia and lived to tell the tale.
