Distraught Thai-Cambodian Busted Destroying Light Posts

PATTAYA: -- A distraught Thai-Cambodian national has been arrested on Friday morning after having destroyed 6 light posts positioned along Pattaya’s Beach Road.

Pattaya, the 18th of June 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 00:30am on Friday, Lieutenant Colonel Klitsakorn Thongin (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified about a man seen walking along the northern end of Pattaya’s Beach Road destroying public property. A team of officers was immediately despatched from the nearby police station to investigate the incident.

Arriving at the scene officers observed a Thai man aggressively kicking at a fallen light-post along the Pattaya Beach Road in front of the Dusit Thani Resort. Along with the light post he was presently kicking, officers observed a further 5 lights that had already been destroyed by the offender.
