Hi

I Will be visting bangkok to be with my gf for new year. This time around i happen to be travelling using an electronic ticket . Would like to know if there could be any problems on getting my visa on arrival due to having an electronic ticket.

Thanks

I do use e-tickets whereby the written confirmation reads something like:

"Please note that you are required to keep a printed copy of this Itinerary/Receipt with you throughout your journey, as it is required for check-in and immigration purposes."

(This is quoted from CX-e-tkts.)

This confirmation as well shows your confirmed re-trun flight. You mention visa on arrival, or do you mean 30 days' stay with visa exemption?

Thank you for the quick reply.

I was referring to 15 day visa on arrival obtained at the airport. I wont be there for long just one week as my work commitments dont allow me to more time.

I have a confirmed return ticket.

Cheers

You need to actually pay for that visa on arrival. You need to evidence your departure, so take the e ticket, and some passport size photographs with you. There's no visa free period for Indian nationals.

Yup.. Have to pay 1000 Baht. I was there a couple of months back. This is my 3rd trip within this year but my first using an e-Ticket

I just was not sure if they would consider email invoice for e-Ticket as valid evidence for departure.

Thanks

Not more than 15 mins. In fact the last time i was cleared in 5.

The first time the officer was a little rude. but had no problems otherwise.

Each time i landed in bkk around 07:50 pm , i guess no other flights landing at that time
