we are excited to announce that Windows 7 has sold 150 million licenses to-date. As I’ve said before, Windows 7 is the fastest selling operating system in history with 7 copies of Windows 7 sold every second.

...because it's being installed on every new PC that has Windows at a knock down price to the manufacturer.

The big victory is that even the haters are having trouble criticizing it. It's the OS that MS should have put out long ago.

I love W7 but its still kind of weird how it took them so long to finally get it right.

I can only assume you don't actually work with a computer. I find it hard to find where anything is, I don't like the Explorer bug that makes it a pain to work with -here: http://social.answer...d-55ffbbd0e998/ - they appear to have renamed tasks just for the hel_l of it so you can't find them and they have left "dead-end" shortcuts littered all over the C: drive, eg. "Documents and Settings", "Application Data", etc.

The only good thing they have done is the "Search programs" window. Because it would be impossible to use the computer without it.

Very funny.

That'S Seven Copies Per Second

I wonder when Windows 1000 will be released? 1000 copies a second is a lot of dosh!

I wonder who paid for it. I know I didn't.

Brandon LeBlanc is paid by Microsoft..... aha you mean 150 copies of Win7 good question :whistling:

Mr LeBlanc doesn't give us the name a single one of them so... so much for that "information"...
