Who Know Which Brand Of E- Dictionary Is Worth

Featured Replies

I want to buy one of E-Dic but still don't know which brand is good , any idea will appreciated

I use the one included in MS Word.

If you are talking about the pocket type you have to remember they are made for thai people learning english etc....they are like most of us, speak english adequately but do not speak in Thai.

I use the gps learner 4 the company that sells this also have some models that speak english too. It comes with a set of tutorials iin thai which are ok but the thai is a bit formal.

Are you talking about the handheld units for sale here? Talking-Dict, Cyber-Dict, E-Dict and such?

I bought a Talking-Dict SK3 (3,990 baht) last week for grandchild. Her sister has the same model and from quick check it appears to be good. Have always considered them vastly overpriced but when you consider the amount of software (dictionaries) they contain it seems more reasonable and they are now at about half the price as previously.

This model is black/white display (which is all you need for dictionary functions) and seems sell built. Expect I would have looked at the 2k baht models more closely if not a sister thing involved however.

Anyone know a a good one for pocket pc - windows mobile phone? The one came with mine (Nectec's Lexitron Pack) seems poor.

I have one on my PPC called Oxford CE (compact edition). I'd like something better.
