Nissan Tiida Latio 1.6 M T. A Good Deal?

Featured Replies

Hi.

Any one any idea of the deprecation on a new Nissan Tiida Latio 1.6 MT after 1 year. Is it the usual, once it leaves the showroom the value drops quite a lot.

Seems to be a good deal this. Cost on the road including V A T.1 Years Road Tax. and Insurance Baht 564,000.

Or would it be better to buy nearly new. It's From Siam Nissan. CM.

Thanks Satpro.

sells extremely slowly second hand, so expect 380k after one year.

have a look at Honda and Toyota for secondhand value

Id' hazard even lower than Kata, seeing as it's an MT being discussed.. It will lose 30-35% in the first year depending on K's travelled.

It all depends on how long you intend to keep it really - at 5 years old it will have done pretty much all of it's depreciation (by then worth 230K +/- 20K), so no major losses after that.

Wow!!! That's depreciation!

I lost 40% on my Toyota Yaris after four years, sold to a dealer - that's one hel_l of a difference.

yeah, I wanted to be careful, avoiding to be flamed by Nissan owners:)

after 5 years most loss is taken, but still hard to sell. Honda and Toyota is prefered, and 5 years from now its going to compete with presently rather popular Mazda 2 and 3 and Ford Fiesta.

There is a M/T white one 9 months old in a tent not far from me window price 449,000.... So if the tent bought this car from the owner then he would have got 400,000 or less after only 9 months.

As a matter of interest there is also a white 2008 5 door Auto basic model with the window price of 559.000....

also a white 2007 5 door Auto [G] @ 579,000..

So say Thais like 4 doors over the 5 door hatch, but on these prices then it must be because of the M/T gearbox ? if so then paying the 30,000 more for the Auto, maybe would hold its value better ?

Nissan has given theyr cheap stripped Tiida an additional name, "Latio". In LOS that means "hard to sell". All the others use a more difficult code for cheap models, like Toyota J.

and a new(ish) manual family car is almost impossible to sell

Believe many cars are the same here, When I was looking for another car there were 2 Audi A4's both the same year 1995 and same colour in perfect condition, the Auto was 120,000 more than the manual, yet new the difference was 70,000.
