jauntyjohn Posted June 30, 2005 Share Posted June 30, 2005 A quick question if anyone can help: 1. I am married to a Thai - want to start working in Bangkok as a teacher. If I go to Penang can I get a 12 month non immigrant type O visa and if so, can and will my employer obtain a teachers licence and work permit on this visa or will they insist I obtain a non immigrant B? Is it more expensive for them to otain a work permit/teachers licence on an O than a B? Any other advice? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Believe procedure is slightly different but it should not be a problem for them. But up to you how hard to want to push and if it is worth it.
